Johns tribe, the hill people, went back to a primitive life because the founding fathers didn' want to repeat the past by hiding it. For instantce, traveling to New York, John describes the city as in ruins and destroyed. With nothing out their left, johns tribe thought that the best thing to do would be to go back to the old ways. Then, John describes the tribes rituals, which were closely related to those of the indians. Here it show how the Hill tribe went back to the primitive lifestyle.
